Today (October 28th 2012) was the Collector Village Pumpkin Festival pancake breakfast. It was held at the Collector Memorial Hall from 9am to 11am. About 25 folks turned out to eat delicious pancakes, provide feedback on last year’s festival and to receive seedlings of GIANT ATLANTIC, QUEENSLAND BLUE and BUTTERNUT PUMPKINS. In addition to seedlings giant pumpkin seeds were also available.
So let the growing begin in earnest to see what massive pumpkins are created for the 2013 festival.
