Visitor Parking and Traffic Management
There are planned road changes for the Collector Village Pumpkin Festival. The Traffic Control Attendants will assist the flow of traffic and drivers are required to obey directions given to them by the Traffic Control Attendants, Police and Emergency Service Volunteers.
The Federal Highway will have NSW Police directing traffic off the highway into the 2 Collector Exits.
Northbound traffic (from Canberra)
Stay in the left-hand lane on the Federal Highway and take the first exit to your left. Follow Collector Road (follow parking signs) through the village to Lorn Street. Turn right onto Lorn Street and 2 parking areas are in this precinct, George Street parking area and the Collector Village Oval area.
If required the Traffic Control Attendants will direct traffic into the new Overflow parking off Collector Road.
If the 1st exit is not available, take the 2nd exit and follow the traffic parking signs.
Southbound traffic (from Goulburn)
At the 1st exit, turn right into Collector. Follow the parking signs. Turn left on to Campbell Street and 2 parking areas are in this precinct, George Street parking area and the Collector Village Oval area.
Disabled parking
Disabled parking is off Lorn Street and on the Collector Oval. – see our Accessibility Page
Overflow Parking
The new overflow parking and parking on the Collector Oval will allow for additional parking for the Pumpkin Festival.
Please always the directions of the Traffic Control Attendants and NSW Police.
Vehicle Movement Restrictions will be in place between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm in the general Pumpkin Festival site.
This means that only vehicles authorised for very specific purposes will be allowed to move around the Festival site during this period. These rules are put in place for obvious safety reasons and are an important part of the festival’s risk management process for Council Approval and Traffic Management Planning.
